What blood tests should you get?

Recommended blood tests:

HbA1c

This test is used to access how your red blood cell have preformed to the sugar in your diet over the last 12 weeks. 

Thyroid hormones

Gives an indication of how your metabolism is functioning.

Cholesterol

Tests for cholesterol levels - HDL - LDL - Total.

Omega 3 Index

This tests analyses the composition of fatty acids in your blood, determines your omega-3 index and the ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids in your blood.

Vitamin D

Tests for vitamin D levels - Immune system/Bone health.

Homocysteine

Tests for a build up of methyl - can be an indication of stroke or CVD.

Dutch Test 

Tests Female hormone panel.
